Michael Peterle Sr. he was the founder of a book printing family operating in Prague at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries. He came from Annaberk in the Krusne Hory. He trained as a woodcutter in Leipzig and Nuremberg. From 1562 he worked in Prague. He died here in 1588.
